Below is the 1850 New York Census that is the only result for a George Daniels born in England +/- 5 years from 1828. I have yet to prove that it is the same George Daniels that bought land in Clay County later that same year.

The 1850 New York Census got me thinking to check immigration records for a George Daniels around the year 1850 on Ancestry.com. The search came up with four results. One came to California, two of them were from Puerto Rico, and one of them was from Liverpool England to New York City. BINGO!
Again have yet to prove without a doubt this George is my ancestor but the lack of any other possibilities gives this a high probability.
